Help me give my students library books that focus on diversity and the world around us. We also need new science books to help update our library collection.

My Students
My students walk into our school library with excitement in their eyes. They can't wait to be able to let their imagination go wild in the library Makerspace. You can see students taking apart and putting together computers, designing 3-D models, constructing structures, learning circuitry, or playing board games. You will also see students curled up in the corner reading a book or asking me for a new book for them to read. It always puts a smile on my face when they come back to me, after reading a book, to tell me how much they loved a book.
The library has become a safe place where my students have an opportunity to experience things that they can't access otherwise because of their socioeconomic background, and one of the best parts about my school is that we have such a diverse background of students.
This project will provide our school library with several new books that focus on diversity and the world we live in. It will also give us some new books on various science topics to help update our science collection.
My Project
Over the past few years, I have worked hard to create a library where my students feel safe and welcome. One of my main goals is to provide my students with a diverse library collection because I truly believe that all of my students are special, and they all deserve to come in and see a book collection that represents them and the world around them.
Books can take you away to magical places or off to whole new worlds that you wouldn't get to experience otherwise.
This project will help provide our library with a more diverse collection, including books such as Gilded, Fast Pitch, and Unsettled. It will also provide us with several science books to help us update our non-fiction collection. It is important to have science books that are current and relate to essential things in our world right now. I also love having books that my students can apply the science they are learning, just like the Cookbook for Young Scientists that mixes cooking and science experiments together.
