My Project

My students this year are kind-hearted and care about the world around them. We recently read the book "Black Beach," about the origin of Earth Day, and now my students want to do their part to help the environment and the world around them. Currently, they are interested in learning about bees and what they can do to help these amazing creatures.

Having these wonderful bee books in my classroom will help my students learn about bees and how integral they are to the environment.

Each book will help them see bees in a new light, and be inspired to protect and champion these tiny creatures. The bee puppet will help them see the parts of the bee up-close, and the books will further their learning and increase student engagement since they are investigating a topic of their own choice.
