My Project

My first grade students are super sweet children who love finding ways to make this world a better place. They understand that we have limited resources and are grateful for what we have. Students currently use Ziploc bags to carry their supplies, plastic bags when they don't have a backpack, and plastic bottles for water.

This project will provide students the opportunity to design and promote the importance of reusing materials to protect our environment.

Students will be able to use less plastic with the canvas tote bags, pencil bags, and water bottles. Students will be excited to bring their designs to life with the acrylic paint markers and to encourage others to become eco-friendly in ways that they can.
