My Students

My students are awesome! I teach at a Philadelphia Public School that qualifies for Title I funding. My entire class qualifies for free breakfast and lunch. Most of my students live in a single-parent household and some of them are being cared for by a foster family or extended family members.

Despite the challenges my students face, they come each day with a great attitude.

Many of them have faced hardships that you would never want any child to ever experience. I provide a safe, nurturing environment where kids can learn and progress.

My Project

Young children will be required to wear masks all day as the country opens up and we return to school. Their only mask break will occur at breakfast and lunch when they eat their meals or if they are outside.

Students wearing a mask lanyard will not lose their masks during the day.

If a child needs to pull their mask down, the lanyard allows it to hang around their neck. The small toggles allow a way to secure mask and provide our little ones with a better fitting mask.
