My Project

Having an organized classroom is a big focus in being an effective teacher...this is why I am seeking a bookcase to hold my teacher manuals and professional development books.

The requested bookcase will house all my teacher manuals and professional development books in a space near my teacher desk that I can access quickly while I plan my daily lesson before and after school. This way, when I am planning and prepping for a reading, writing, math, science and etc. lesson, I can get to it faster and have a place to keep the books organized by sections. I can visually see what they are and take them out quickly to look over each teacher manual for the next day's lesson to myself before I use them with my students. Having this bookcase will allow me to have more time for prepping and lesson planning in other subject areas. In addition, when other teachers come to my classroom to plan, I can quickly take out the correct teacher manual or professional development book for us glance over and teach each other certain lesson that we find confusing. Providing an organized classroom will allow me to quickly obtain learning materials and optimize instructional time.
