Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In a mission to save tress we are slowly moving into incorporating more tech in our class. So part of students instruction, involves them using headphones on a daily and for testing. For example, during guided reading, some of our ENL and students with IEPs need books read aloud to them, so having headphones is vital for them. In our classroom, we promote student centered learning in which our students show casing their work to their peers and walking them through the steps they took to solve a problem. Having a doc camera is vital for this. In our ICT classroom, we do a lot of small group differentiated instruction in order to be in compliance with our students with disabilities mandates. Having dry erase whiteboards for our students to practice and apply skills they learned across all content areas is crucial to this. Our classroom also needs copy paper for when state test prep begins. We appreciate if you can make this happen for our class.
