Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
As a Title I school, which is considered highest poverty. Our students are involved in a tennis club. Our goal is try provide our students with the best badminton equipment available. We will need 20 racquets, 8 pop up nets These items will provide our students with the start up kit needed to get things going.
Due to our status as a title 1 school (high poverty), it is difficult to provide our students with the equipment necessary to help our students enjoy and grow during their physical education.
Our goal is to provide our students with new equipment for their transition into a team. These items can help them remember their time at our school and their opportunity to learn a love of athletics for the rest of their lives.
My Project
The goal of this project is to provide our students with every opportunity to have the proper equipment for whichever activity we are teaching. Badminton is a very popular sport among our student body. But we have a large need for the equipment to make this sport a reality in our physical education classroom.
Our students come from poor back grounds, the best equipment they see for any sport, they engage in, will come from our physical education classroom.
This is possible with your support.
This project will allow all of our students to have access to equipment, which will in turn provide a better physical education experience and better social engagement.
