Kindergarten students are always so excited to learn and read! They are very supportive of each other and their success. Each child has started at his or her own beginning point and has strived to learn and grow as much as they can. They come to school with curious minds and eagerness to learn. it is my job to nurture these minds and sprout life long readers and learners to prepare them for a journey they are just beginning.
I teach kindergarten students with all different types of needs.
With up to 23 kiddos each day, it is my responsibility to ensure that all students get what they need in order to have the best education they can get. They touch my heart and soul with every smile they give me as they walk through my room!
My Project
We all know that being able to sit for a long period can be very hard. For five and six-year-olds, it can be even more difficult! With this project, students will be able to choose a different way to sit and help them learn.
Research shows that the benefits of flexible seating increase learning.
With all these different types of seats, student's motivation and engagement will increase, better oxygen flow to the brain and it will improve their concentration. I want to give my students a classroom in which they are most comfortable in. One in which they can learn what they need to focus and the opportunity to make good choices for themselves.
