My Project
I am a speech language pathologist at an elementary and middle school. The students that need the most help are my preschoolers, kindergarteners, and first graders. Most of these students are working on their articulations skills.
Articulation skill is working on the individual sounds that we use to produce words and then sentences, which gives my student their voices to communicate their wants and needs.
I want all my students to have their voice. Having accurate production of these sounds will also help them when they learn to read. Everyone deserves to have their voice to be heard and understood.
My population of the early elementary students in need of speech and language therapy have increased after the pandemic. These resources will directly help my students with their articulation and language because they do better with visuals.
