My Project
The 8th grade students in the Run Club at People for People Charter School have challenged themselves, once again, to run the Philadelphia Love Run Half Marathon in March 2023. Our run club practices 2-3 times a week in all weather conditions and seasons in order to successfully prepare and train for the Half Marathon. Our goal is to provide each student with an equitable running experience.
By donating to this project, you can help us provide our students with quality running supplies and gear free of charge to them.
This group of 13 and 14 year olds, also known as the Shadow Runners, have decided to take on a challenge most people do not attempt in their lifetimes. They have and continue to demonstrate perseverance, dedication, and teamwork while trying to achieve this impressive feat.
