Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Hearing a book read on tape could help my students focus on the sounds of words read without interruption and provides a model of fluent reading.

Many books on tape have interesting sound effects, music, and multiple narrators that are especially motivating and fun for young children.

The listening center would also provide a space in the classroom where students can receive comprehensible input in a low-stress environment. Following the pandemic, many students have social and emotional needs; exploring the wonders of their imagination together is a fantastic, positive connection my students sorely need.

The flexible sitting will help my students stay focused and enhance their learning.
