This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
"We need technology in every classroom and in every student and teacher's hand, because it is the pen and paper of our time, and it is the lens through which we experience much of our world." --David Warlick
My fifth and sixth grade scientists are a smart group of energetic, hard working, and curious children.
They love learning through hands on projects and experiences. Having iPads in the classroom will allow my students to explore parts of the world through images, video clips and information.
My Project
My students will be able to research topics of interest, write reports, make collages, and research experiments. They will learn through educational games and interactive stories. The iPads will provide an additional resource for students to use to enhance learning in the classroom. As a teacher, technology will also help better my craft by providing engaging experiences in my lessons.
My project will allow my students to use technology and learn about different science concepts.
Students will be able to see different parts of world and learn new information. Interactive learning through technology is a great way to teach about science.
