Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our awesome students have turned our boring playground into a chicken and garden heaven!

But hey, our coop needs a little pick-me-up, we're on the hunt for materials to keep our feathered friends safe and sound, as well as grow our garden area!

With these materials, we'll patch up, expand, and fortify our coop against any unwanted critter guests. The students are totally hooked on this project, witnessing the chickens' journey from egg to coop.

It has been a great lesson in the classroom and when we are outside as well. The students earn the privilege to help with the chickens! They look forward to it everyday! Let's keep this clucking adventure alive and kicking! We look forward to sharing our adventure about our chickens and growing garden!
