Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The students have a unit where they learn about endangered and at risk animals around the world. The readings discuss the animals, their habitats and what is causing them to be at risk or endangered.

Students will create graphs and pamphlets that share the statistics of the at risk and endangered animals.

They will come up with ideas that communities and individuals will be able to help the animals and spread awareness to save them. Students will use the graph paper, markers, crayons, and color gel pens to create the graphs and pamphlets, and present their learning.
