Help Teens Create Shirts to Promote and Support Animal Welfare
Help me give my students the opportunity to show off their membership in a volunteer animal welfare club with custom made club Tshirts designed by the students
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This project will help to promote the volunteer after school club in which students prepare supplies for pets of the school community and local neighborhood.
In this club, called Paws & Tails, students learn about pet care, pet needs, and the importance of caring for our four legged friends.
Students in this club are responsible for organizing and staffing a monthly pet food pantry at the school. We also sponsor free pet microchipping and immunizations. Students are learning and practicing essential job skills and engaging in compassionate community care. Allowing students to make Tshirts with the club logo will provide a promotional incentive and reward the students for their volunteer efforts. The Tshirts also give our club an identity and promote our presence in the school and in the community.
