Help me give my students some tools to help them pass the ACT exam. Not only could it benefit them for college but graduating high school. Chairs- help them study/apply comfortably in our room.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These items would benefit many students at RHS, especially our Juniors and seniors. It would give them a chance to study for ACT exam before/after school or even at home. Many students struggle with passing different exams at school and are struggling with even graduating high school. That being said, having access to these books to help them study would give them the opportunity to not only graduate high school but help them get into the colleges of their desire. Many students can not afford the ACT book and allowing students to have access to the book at school or even able to borrow them to bring home would make a huge difference for many. The chairs would give them a comfortable place to sit to study, research, or apply at colleges. Currently, they are using rusty old metal chairs. Our main goal in the student success center is the ability to give more opportunities to students to help them succeed in the future.
