My Students

Our students are special as each and every one has a unique reason for attending our school. Students come to to school looking for a new way to learn through hands-on projects. They find engagement and investment in their own educational processes through a unique approach to Project-Based learning.

Our students need to be empowered to find their way in the world.

Additionally, there are many students here who need to find their way home to renew and reinvest in their education. They truly enjoy active discussion and more interactive methods of learning, especially related to bigger ideas!

My Project

Please help our students have an enriching cultural experience through reading these novels about oppression and injustice. Both novels are inspirational novels about inner strength and the ability to re-invent oneself.

Through reading these novels the students will explore how we are not bound by our choices, or our parents choices- we can re-invent who we are at any time.

The focus of these courses is on recognizing inner strength and the benefits of experiencing challenges in life. How can we persevere, grow and evolve in spite of our circumstances? These are amazing novels and stories likely would not be exposed to at a traditional school.
