Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
We are an Integrated Co-Teaching (ICT) classroom of 23 students, about half of whom receive special education services. Our students are eager to learn and need the resources in order to be successful in their studies!
Our students come from a variety of different economic backgrounds with most of our students receiving free lunch.
My students walk into our classroom every day full of life, ready to learn, and excited for what is in store for them for the rest of the day!
My Project
In my classroom, I have 1 desktop computer and a 2:1 ratio of iPads. The iPads are good for researching, but not as user friendly to create documents as a desktop computer. The desktop computers would allow the students to research and create assignments such as word documents with the ability to print them easier. The “All in One” computer would also hook up to my projector and would allow the students to work together on the Mimio software. The computer would allow my students to have an additional piece of technology to help prepare them for the 21st Century!
