Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our school consists of a diverse group of dedicated, curious, and amazing students. We have a high percentage of English language learners who work hard every day to increase their language acquisition. We are a school located in a low-income community in Worcester, MA and all of our students are offered free school lunch. My students are optimistic, caring, and motivated to grow! However, many of these students don't have access to technology at home, which is making it very challenging for students to learn while they are not at school. Please help us allow students the opportunity to learn at home during this hard time! Thank you so much!!

My Project

Students will use these tablets while they are home for the coming weeks! They will be able to read, write, and do math problems during these difficult times. There are so many great websites and apps available on these tablets to help students continue learning.

These tablets will allow students to communicate with their teacher, which is so important for a child's development at this time.

Many of the students in my class are unable to learn at home because they do not have access to technology, any help would be appreciated! I know the students would be so excited to be able to learn at home!
