This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach at a wonderful school in the South Bronx. Many of these children come from low-income homes. Our school has had budget cuts and it’s hard to get the supplies we need for our children. We have amazing children who deserve to have the supplies they need to succeed. Physical education is extremely important in school. Children need gross motor activities to keep them moving. Children are sitting all day long and it’s important for their education to get time to move around. You can help children get supplies that will help them in school.
My Project
My children are very active when they come to gym. They love to run around and participate. It is important to keep there strength up. They get very hungry and thirsty after gym. Many of them do not have a snack or drink. Having these snacks and drinks will keep the children healthy and happy. We do not want any child to ever be thirsty or hungry. If they are they will not work up to there full potential everyday. Thank you for taking the tine to read our proposal.
