My Project
Our energy unit dives into essential biology concepts, from photosynthesis to cellular respiration and energy flow in ecosystems. Through hands-on labs like the photosynthesis lab, clothespin lab, muscle fatigue lab, balloon lab, and owl pellet dissection lab, students get to explore how plants create food, how cells generate energy, and how energy sustains ecosystems. These labs provide memorable experiences—like observing photosynthesis in action, testing muscle fatigue, and analyzing food chains with owl pellets—that make these abstract concepts come to life.
Your donation will supply the materials needed for these engaging labs, enabling students to directly experiment with how energy is created, used, and transferred in living systems.
