My Project

I work in a Title I school where most of my students start the day off at a disadvantage. Most of my students are faced with the harsh reality of not having an adequate food supply at home. Sometimes, the two small meals provided by the school may be all they eat that day. I like to use snacks and treats as incentives for positive behavior, but I also send home extra food. I look forward to seeing their bright faces daily, but it hurts my heart to hear them tell about being hungry.
