This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Families come from all over the world to our community for a fresh start. A school is a place they come asking for help so we have created a market and system for them to fill their basic needs and offer support. Maslow's hierarchy of needs suggests that students can't focus on learning if their basic needs aren't met.

This project will help us meet the basic needs of our students so they have one less thing to worry about and can focus more on academics and friendships.

Many families are unable to afford basic hygiene products. These items are essential and something that parents should not need to worry about providing for their children. With your kindness and help, we will be able to provide basic hygiene products for these families and give kids time to just be a kid a little bit longer.
