Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am a community nurse for an elementary school that is a high poverty area. Having the ability to have a change of clothes for children who need some helps them maintain dignity and helps parents not have to leave work and lose wages.

We go thru a lot of Band-Aids in health room that sees 60+ kids a day.

Also, having that many children in a school, our floor in the health room takes a beating, and the Swiffer will help maintain cleanliness. The border for a bulletin board will help call attention to healthy habits.
