it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
A group of students came to me and asked me to be the advisor for the new chess club at our school. They have been meeting regularly for a semester and have been playing on one borrowed chess board and their computers. The students are at a variety of skill levels and love both playing against each other as well as helping each other learn the game of chess.
We need boards and clocks!
The students have decided that their main goal for the club this semester (other than to play chess) is to host a tournament. They can't do that without actual chess boards and clocks. They also would just love to all be able to play on a board instead of a screen.
Any help would be appreciated. The students are excited to play chess with one another but feel stuck and limited by only being able to play on screens.
