This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

We are an Integrated Co-Teaching (ICT) classroom of 23 students, about half of whom receive special education services. Our students are eager to learn and need the resources in order to be successful in their studies!

Our students come from a variety of different economic backgrounds with most of our students receiving free lunch.

My students walk into our classroom every day full of life, ready to learn, and excited for what is in store for them for the rest of the day!

My Project

A Student/Teacher Communication and Organization Station allows both students and teachers to organize assignments and all paperwork being passed between the two.

Organization and Communication are two of the most important things an effective classroom needs to run smoothly and get the highest academic results possible.

Helping students to learn how to organize their classwork early will be a tool they use for the rest of their lives. They will use these organization and communication strategies in their future careers and run their own households one day. So, not only will it improve their school lives but their future as well! "A cluttered desk is a cluttered mind."
