Help Replenish Our Playground Supplies

My students need toys to play outside in the sand, such as two sand diggers, two sand castle molds, and two sand and water wheels. After election day this year all our toys were all gone!!! We love playing in the sand, especially building castles.

My Students

Before election we had tons of toys in our playground. After, we have nothing...no sand diggers or sifters, no block makers or buckets. Our kiddos need to dig, build and play! We need new buckets and shovels. We need sand and water sifters to watch and learn about the world around us.

My kiddos come from all over the world.

We have a diverse population and we love to play outside. We get lots of sunshine in New Mexico so it's important to spend time enjoying it. After the midterm elections when the public came onto our campus all of our toys were gone. My kinders love to dig in the sand and they don't have any shovels or buckets. It is also fascinating for them to run the sand and water through sifters and mills. You just never know what they will find. Digging and building and playing together outside is one of the best memories kids have from school. Please help my kiddos have more fun at outside recess!!!!

My Project

My kiddos will love to build and dig and sift through the sand looking for treasures and dinosaur bones. Imagination is a wild and great thing to cherish and develop. Without the ability to dig except with our bare hands it is just not as much fun!!!

This project will make my kiddos happy to go outside and see new toys after all of the ones we started the year with have disappeared.

Please bring some fun back to the kinder playground with some new toys. We promise to use them every day!!!
