Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

As a Special Education Teacher at times it is hard to keep my students engaged. I found an effective way to support my students is by using rewards to incentivize good on-task behavior. My students enjoy this and sometimes they compete between each other to fill their reward charts up the fastest.

Unfortunately, there are times I cannot keep my reward treat box filled up fast enough with their favorite things such as, takis chips, cookies, and candies on my teacher salary.
