Help Provide Learning Activities for Students with Intellectual Disabilities
Help me give my students hands-on activities. I teach students with intellectual disabilities and many have difficulty writing letters and numbers traditionally on paper with pencil.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students love to work with their hands. Many of them have difficulty accessing traditional print and have difficulty writing on their own. Our class needs new activities to present numbers and letters in a fun and engaging way.
Not only will these activities help my students learn about numbers and letters, but they will also help them develop their fine motor skills and their socio-emotional skills, such as sharing and taking turns.
We will be able to use these materials for whole group, small group, and independent work for years to come.
