Help Provide a Sense-sational Experience in Our Classroom

Help me give my students noise cancelling ear muffs, Magna-Tiles to provide a way for students of all abilities to build, and other tools to support their sensory needs.

My Project

Various sensory opportunities in the classroom allow my students to try to determine which tools are most beneficial for them. As many of my students are new to school, they struggle with adapting to a new routine. Giving them calming, sensory options like Play-Doh and noise cancelling headphones eases their adjustment into a classroom.

Our classroom community consists of students of various fine motor abilities, and Magna-Tiles are a tool which students of all abilities can enjoy and utilize successfully.

They are not only educational but also help students build confidence.
