Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are PHENOMENAL! They are high school students at Title I school. These young adults are determined, passionate, and caring students. I am a new to high school teacher, teaching Biology and Middle School Science at my Title I school. Previously I taught a Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math course. However, I am so excited to be able to continue with some of my eighth-grade students!

My students are LEADERS, they see a challenge and rise to the occasion.

Each one of them has a unique story and is an incredible individual. Many of our students are from low-income families and even were affected by Hurricane Maria. Not only have they made incredible learning grains this past year but they have done so while caring for each other and their school.

My Project

I like to provide for my students as much as I can and technology is a limited resource at my school. However I want my students to all have a chance to use it in my classroom because they are not able to at home. I have bought 10 Amazon Fire Tablets for my students to use however protection is a MUST.

While I LOVE my students beyond words, they are definitely NOT the most coordinated at times.

I would love for these devices to be able to be used for years and protective equipment would all for that to happen!!
