My 2021-2022 class is full of engaged, eager, and excited sixth graders. We are doing our best to learn, grow, and build relationships after two difficult years. This year is proving to be quite the challenge as well!
My students this year are truly excited to learn and spend time in the classroom as a classroom family.
This particular group is very gifted with Language Arts. They are ready to tackle reading and writing with full ferocity and passion. It is exciting to see a group so eager to be educated. They are curious, creative, and fearless. I have no doubt they are going to do amazing things this year!
My Project
Through technology and PPE, I intend to both educate and protect my students. By 2022, we know to expect the unexpected. An iPad will allow me to record and upload videos to Google Classroom; whether online or in person. This is a great tool to give them the best education possible, no matter what.
I have also asked for many PPE items to keep us as safe as possible as we navigate this new wave of the pandemic.
We know health comes first, and my students' health is incredibly important to me. My students will benefit from all of these educational tools greatly. The iPad will not only allow me to provide excellent lessons for their benefit, it can be used directly by students. There are a plethora of apps that help student growth. They will also benefit from the PPE items such as disinfectant wipes and masks, because it will keep them safe.
