Help Preschool See the Light!

Help me give my students manipulative's to explore on our current light table, it can be used for open play, academic learning, scientific discovery, and sensory integration. They can use the manipulative's to explore math and literacy projects.

My Students

My students come from a district that has several families that are considered low income. We started a preschool program last year to give those students a chance to succeed. So many of our kindergarten students were coming to school unprepared for kindergarten, so we felt as a district we needed to serve those students before entering school. We started this program with supplies from a kindergarten and we need a few more things to enhance student learning. For most of my students this is their very first school experience.

My Project

My students enjoy hands on activities. They love to explore and learn new things. They can use these materials to learn about patterns, numbers, shapes etc. We recently had a school board member make us a awesome light table but now we need materials to make it even better. These materials will help my students work independently during choice time and explore on their own. They will be able to trace their ABC's on the table to help with fine motor skills. Please help my students get these items that we desperately need. These materials are perfect for practice with everything from counting to creating color combinations.
