My Project
In my Pre-K gym class, we learn gross motor skills and fine motor skills through various units of study; including but not limited to soccer, fitness, jump rope, movement, striking, balls and hula hoops.
Many of our games and activities need organization, which is why I am requesting cones and an electronic timer to help students' knowledge of space and time.
The cones will help us to organize safe areas of play, establish boundaries for games, and create lines for waiting. The timer will help aid students concept of time during game play- so example when I tell them that we have "2 minutes left to play," the timer will help as a visual aid for understanding.
Donations to this project will influence my students concept of space and time, which will greatly benefit them as they age.
