My Students
Do you remember all your friends' birthdays in your class? Do you remember the daily schedule? Do you remember sorting and making patterns?
I teach pre-kindergarten to eighteen amazing children in the New York City Area.
We have a great school. However, due to budget cuts it is very hard to get supplies we need for our children. The children deserve to have the materials they need to succeed in school.
My Project
My children need visual aids to help them learn different topics. One major math concept that we work on throughout the year is sorting and patterning. If we had a chart the children will be able to practice this concept in small groups. We need a birthday chart so the children can learn each others birthday and be able to figure out how many more days until the next birthday. The last chart we need is a daily schedule. Having the children see the schedule will hep them adjust and transition through out the day.
You will make it possible for the children to become independent and learn through visual aids.
The children will learn to work cooperatively. Thank you for taking the time to read my proposal.
