My Students

Do you remember the first time you took a picture in the classroom? You can help us capture moments that parents don't get to see. We would like to make a memory book and a slide show for the children to look back and remember these precious moments.

I teach Pre-K to eighteen children in a public school in New York.

Most of the families come from low income homes. My school is a great school, however we do not have the resources to get all the materials that we need to enhance the quality of teaching.

My Project

My students love to take pictures of special moments in school by using a camera. One day, as the students were making pizza, a student said "Hey that would make a great picture, too bad we don't have a camera". I replied, "You're right. I will try to get the class a camera." We need two digital camera and memory cards, to capture these memories. One camera will stay in the classroom for the children to use and the other one will be with their prep teacher who they see everyday. This way I will be able to capture every perfect moment. How great would it be to be able to make class memory books as well as individual books? We also want to make a slide show to use for graduation.

You will make it possible for my students to look back at these memories and remember them for a lifetime.

They will get to see the pictures they take and then I will print them out for the in the classroom. Thank you for taking the time to read my proposal.
