Do you remember the first time you cooked in school?
I teach Pre-Kindergarten to eighteen wonderful children.
Most of these children come from low income families in the New York Area. These children are so fun loving and full of life. They are all hard working children and deserve to have items that will enhance their learning.
My Project
My children love to cook and bake in the classroom. We had a microwave and it broke. When we want to cook we have to go down the hall and use another classes oven. The children ask me all the time if they can cook and unfortunately I have to say no because it's too time consuming to take the kids to another room. Many times the children come in hungry. It would be great to be able to make them waffles in the morning. The microwave oven will help heat and cook during some of our cooking activities.
You will make it possible for children to enhance there math and language art skills through hands on cooking activities.
Thank you for taking the time to read my proposal.
