Help Pre-K Children Work On Their Gross Motor Skills

What did you like to do when you were in school and had outdoor play time?

I work at an amazing school in the New York City Area.

I teach Pre-Kindergarten to eighteen wonderful children. Many of these children don't get to play with other children outside of school. So when it's free time we always try to make every child have the best time.

My Project

My children need balls and outside equipment to play with to work on their gross motors skills as well as fine motor and language skills. When they go outside the only thing they have now are hula hoops. I have bought chalk and a few balls but over the course of the year they are all worn out. Everyday the children asked me to get more balls. I told them I would do my best to get them some things to play with outside.

You will make it possible for the children to learn to play catch and share the equipment with each other.

The children will be able to play games and work on a variety of skills. Thank you for taking the time to read our proposal.
