Help Our Volleyball Team Bump, Set, and Spike to Success
My students need volleyball carts, linesman flags, a ball pump, and a coaching board to help us grow as athletes and compete in our sport.

My Students
Someone is going to break an ankle tripping over a volleyball! This phrase can frequently be heard during our team's volleyball practices. We are in need of volleyball carts to hold our balls during practices and game warm-ups.
Our team is from an inner-city public high school.
We have a very diverse student body and many sports and extra-curricular activities for students to join. Our school of approximately 1,400 has students in grades 9-12. We encourage everyone with an interest to try out for the volleyball team and are fortunate to be able to maintain a varsity and junior varsity roster. However, funds are spread thin and we have little more than the basic necessities for the girls' volleyball team. Our nets and balls are shared with the boys' team.
My Project
The school provides our uniforms but we have to raise money for anything additional that we need. We tend to lose a lot of volleyballs because we do not have a proper storage system for them. When we travel to other venues to play, we are in awe of their rolling storage carts for their balls. These would save a lot of time at practice and provide for organization during our pre-match warm-up. Our coaches will also be able to communicate with us with dry-erase coaching boards. We also do not have our own line judge flags and have to borrow them from the referees when they come to our gym.
Our girls give 100% during practice and on the court during our matches.
They deserve to have the same equipment as our competitors, which would include rolling storage carts for our balls. Having a place to safely store our balls would increase safety at our practices and allow us to have an organized and efficient pre-game warm-up.
