Help! Our Teacher Is Stuck At Her Document Reader!
My students need an iPad and Apple TV in our classroom so our learning can be more interactive. It will allow me to move around the classroom and not be limited to one spot.
We are a classroom of 35 eager, ready to learn 4th graders who believe that it is important for all students to work together to make our classroom the best place for learning. We value learning, responsibility, and a growth mindset. We strive to treat each other respectfully, have self-control, practice good manners, and come to school every day prepared, with a good attitude, and ready to learn.
Our classroom of 35 is part of a much bigger family; we have an enrollment of over 1,000 students and are very proud of our diverse student body and our strong sense of community.
We believe that all children can learn when given the opportunity and we challenge both the students and teachers to be the best they can be.
My Project
An IPad and Apple TV pairing would allow me to monitor the room more freely. I would no longer be stuck at the front of the room. Having a mobile device that could be passed around to the students and mirrored onto the larger screen would make our learning more interactive. The lesson could be brought right to the students. I believe these tools would help pique the students' interest and actively involve all of the students in my class.
The mobility will also allow me to bring the device outside with my class and capture videos or photos while on a field trip or during outside learning.
I would be able to immediately share the pictures or videos through the AppleTV when we return to our classroom.
