My Project

Meeting individualized personal goals is something that our students with Autism and Intellectual Disabilities need! My Life Skills Support Classroom is partnering with the Autistic Support Classroom to start a classroom store. The students will be able to earn classroom money each block for making their personal goals. Some of the individualized goals we are working towards are keeping organized, using capital letters and appropriate punctuation, keeping a positive attitude, and etc... At the end of the week, the students will have the opportunity to spend their money or save it up to "buy" bigger ticket items.

The students created a wish list of items they would like to see in their classroom store.

They are especially excited about potentially being able to purchase wireless speakers and headphones. Each of the items on our list will be used to get the store up and running. The students are so excited to get this started. Please help us make this dream a reality!
