My Students

My students are motivated cadets with a desire to have a positive impact on the school and in their community. Many of these cadets find a home and a purpose in JROTC. The cadets are what make JROTC a success, not the instructors.

My Project

We are starting an after school archery program that will be open to all 1000 of our students. We hope that this new sport will give a new trajectory towards targets once thought to be out of reach. Many students have not found their passion and we hope that archery will fill that void. Archery can propel students to become Olympians or just teach focus, discipline and dedication. In the end, we may find ourselves missing the target 90 percent of the time, but if we hit bullseye 10 percent, this program will be worth it.
