My Students
Live Music is Better-
Our MUSIC PRODUCTION class is now producing a live music concert series at our school during lunch. We have a small PA system, and we need your help to expand our sound. This donation will allow our motivated students to put on a high quality live performance.
Our students come in all colors, sizes, and abilities in our MUSIC PRODUCTION ELO class.
This is a special interest class where students are allowed to ELECT to join this special group. Motivation is very high, as our students are ready to put together live shows and talent showcases at our school. We have lots of different cultures with lots of different types of talent.
Our high school is located on the Big Island of Hawaii, and the majority of our students are from 14-18 years old.
My Project
Our students will use this musical performance gear to build a quality Public Address System, and this will integrate nicely into our other donated gear. This PA system will then be used to make live music at a school lunch concert series. The live performance shows are already scheduled, and our group is ready to go!
This donation will allow us to more than double the sound output, and will drastically increase the quality and range of the types of performances that we will be able to complete.
This system will also be used for our annual Talent Show that we have once a year.
Our students realized early on in our year that the current sound system we had from donations was not going to be enough to complete and do the type of performances that was their initial goal.
This donation will complete their technical needs and will allow them to focus on organizing and running a LIVE CONCERT series. It will allow them to feel good about their final product because the sound will be high quality, and they will have all the parts they need.
