Celebrating Black History Month

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

As our athletics department first responder/athletic trainer I see these student athletes work hard at every practice and games. With the dumbbells and weight bench we are asking for, coaches and I can help push our students to a healthier and stronger lifestyle. Strength training and endurance training has proven to enhance athletes performance. These items will also help with their health.

Reducing diabetes, obesity, anxiety, depression , cancer and heart diseases.

Working out will also boost self esteem, confidence and ultimately reducing social anxiety. Starting them young will also have a better chance of them continuing a healthier lifestyle through their lifetime.
