Help Our Students Build Independence & Executive Function Skills!

My Project

Our classroom is filled with enthusiastic learners who each bring unique strengths and learning styles. Many of our students thrive with visual structure and clear routines, while others are working on building executive functioning skills.

Our Goals include Increasing student independence in managing materials, Reducing transition time between activities, and teaching lifelong organizational skills.

Labeled bins will create predictable learning centers where students can self-direct their activities. When our students can independently organize their materials, they spend less time searching for supplies and more time engaging in learning. This organization system will help reduce anxiety, build confidence, and create a foundation for success in and out of the classroom. Also, the animal habitat material will help our students understand their habitats and help them learn the alphabet. Doodle mat will help our students have sensory breaks.
