My Students

Our school is a special place that makes you think of rural Vermont. We sit at the base of Mount Ascutney in West Windsor, Vermont. Our students are amazing, beautiful, talented and driven in their educational pursuits.

From music class, to ensemble, to a developing drama/expressive arts club, we have a variety of options for students to find a way to express themselves not only in an academic sense but also in a performance sense.

Even with a small student population, it can be difficult to audibly hear all of our students vocally during performances. We also know that some students do not like to be the center of attention and would rather be behind the scenes. This will give the opportunity to both.

My Project

Who hasn't gone to a concert at a small school to watch their children? Everyone loves seeing their child up on stage singing their little hearts out for all to hear. Parents love sharing the videos of their children at these events.

How many times have you thought "Wow, I'm having a hard time hearing little Johnny"?

Who else hasn't thought wow the school's PA system looks out of date. Our school is looking to purchase a small PA system to help our students be heard during performances. Right now we use our overhead speakers in our gymnasium which sadly crack and are unreliable.

Not only will this help all of our students be heard but we will also now have the opportunity to learn about the behind-the-scenes of audio production and presentation.
