This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students in our school community are working hard to develop language and reading skills. Most of our students are English language learners and need extra practice with language fluency.

Whisper phones benefit students by providing immediate auditory feedback as they read, allowing them to clearly hear their own voice and identify areas for improvement in pronunciation, fluency, and comprehension, particularly helpful for struggling readers or those with phonological awareness difficulties; they also encourage quieter reading and can help build confidence by allowing students to practice reading aloud without others hearing them clearly.
