Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I am tasked with the pleasure of teaching enthusiastic third grade students in all subject areas. These students are curious, intelligent, and creative beyond all measures. They attend a Visual and Performing Arts Magnet in Los Angeles. Being that our school is an Art's Magnet, we try to integrate art in all forms into as many subject areas as possible. The students at this school come from various backgrounds with various life experiences. Funding for some of our materials is difficult to come by. I appreciate you coming to our page and would appreciate and support you could give.
My Project
After 5 years of gentle wear and tear our beloved classroom printer has printed its last copy. For the past three years I have been patiently fixing constant jams and have washed a lot of ink of off my hands. This printer was a donation from a company that didn't need them any more and was pretty old when it came to us. We have enjoyed the convenience of printing out fun assignments. Making copies of our own published work, and just printing out anything we needed for our projects in the convenience of our own classroom and don't know how we will continue without a printer.
