My students need Giant Links, a junior engineer set, interlocking people, nuts and bolts, a puzzle, rocket builders, a snap together set, lacing beads, and other fine motor tools!

My Students

Our little students are making their hands stronger so that they can become amazing writers someday! I have requested fine motor activities such as building toys, linking toys, and manipulatives.

My kids are amazing.

Our class is comprised of preschool and kindergarten students ages 3-6 with Special Needs. Their minds are constantly growing and early intervention allows us to give them a head start in learning. We teach skills in the following areas: fine motor, gross motor, school readiness, self-help skills and social emotional skills. We provide intervention to students with mild to moderate disabilities. Every day, we are committed to providing educational experiences that help our kids grow and make the transition to kindergarten a little bit easier. Our school is designated a Title 1 school, and we are in need of items to help enhance their learning.

My Project

I have requested fine motor toys such as Giant Links, a junior engineer set, interlocking people, nuts and bolts, a puzzle, rocket builders, a snap together set, lacing beads, and other linking activities, building toys, connectors and fine motor manipulatives. These items will support their learning in fine motor, speech/language, play, and social emotional areas. I teach students with various disabilities and these items will help them with learning skills within the classroom. It is difficult for our students with physical disabilities as well as cognitive impairments to learn new skills in traditional ways of learning. This will support the adaptions necessary in a special education setting.

Please know that I love my job, and I love my kids.
