My Students
My classroom is a place to learn and discover new mathematics. My students are from inner city Brooklyn. Some of the students come from high poverty areas and school is a time to use technology that they may not have access to at home. The students are hard workers that want a chance to succeed in school. They are excited to explore the world of mathematics through technology. We are giving our students an opportunity to work with technology in a safe learning environment!
My Project
This year we have embarked on a new type of learning in our schools. Students are using a hybrid model (some days in school and some at home) to learn. When students are distance learning they are on google meet or zoom with me. My students need to be able to hear what I am saying but they are having difficulty with other background noise. The AirPods would allow the students to be successful in school by focusing only on my voice. The wireless option will give me the freedom to work on my SMART Board while I speak to my students. This addition to our digital classroom will definitely be a game changer.
